Kozhikode Students Muhammed Adhil and Ameya Mohan Crowned TT2025 Brilliant Minds at TechTop International Inclusive Innovation Bootcamp

Kochi, Kerala – December 4, 2025 – The weeklong TechTop 2025 International Inclusive Innovation and Entrepreneurship Zero2Entrepreneur Bootcamp concluded successfully at the Maker Village in Kochi, culminating in the naming of two exceptional students from Kozhikode—Muhammed Adhil TS and Ameya Mohan—as the TT2025 Brilliant Mind Champions.

The 37 hand-picked participants, spanning grades 6 to 12 from India, Japan, and the UAE, underwent an intensive curriculum designed to transform them from "Zero2Maker" to confident entrepreneurs.

Organized by the Thiruvananthapuram-based TechTop Charitable Trust, a leading propagator of student innovation in India since 2006, this year's bootcamp marked its first International Inclusive Innovation session for K12 students.

The diverse curriculum covered essential entrepreneurial skills, including: Zero2Maker hands-on experience and ideation, Innovation, Patent Filing, and Company Formation, Cashflow Dynamics and Financial Literacy, Communication, Storytelling, and Pitching Skills, Film Making, Website Development, and Social Media Outreach.

The sessions were led by a distinguished panel of international experts, including Prof. Rajesh Nair (Encube Lab and MIT), Vedant Ahluwalia (Sandford Angels), Ribu Tharakan (Oxford, Cambridge, and London School of Economics), Dhruv Saideva (Neurominds), and Ram Kamal, advisor to inclusive education of government of Andhra Pradesh.

The selection of 7th grade students Muhammed Adhil TS, a student at Government Upper Primary School, Thurayur, and Ameya Mohan of GGVHSS Feroke, both from Kozhikode, highlights the success of inclusive initiatives in finding top talent.

The students' triumph over competitors from international schools and across India is a testament to TechTop’s research-backed effort supported by Walkroo Foundation and De Leed International. This research, conducted with DIET as the government partner, focuses on developing innovation and creativity ecosystems in government upper primary and high schools across Kozhikode, Kannur, and Malappuram.

Prof. Alex James, Dean of Digital University Kerala and IIITMK, expressed profound confidence in the new generation during the closing ceremony. "The pitches made by the student teams are remarkable," he said. "It is unbelievable that they gained these skills in just one week from this amazing Zero2Entrepreneur Bootcamp."

Dr. Ramana Ramanathan, the Founding Director of the Atal Innovation Mission, lauded the program's potential impact and said, “These kids can change India and cement its position as a world leader in the near future. The knowledge gained in the camp has already transformed these students as student leaders on Innovation and Making. India is changing. I hope Techtop will continue their good role in developing regional student leaders to scale the ‘India Dream’ to reality.”

Prof. Rajesh Nair of MIT and Founder of TechTop and Encube Labs reiterated the camp's core philosophy: "This camp is a living experience to the claim that 'Innovators can be created.'"

Prof. Nair, who is based in Boston and is a faculty and mentor at various international universities, has a mission to create a million entrepreneurs.

The TechTop International Zero2Entrepreneur Bootcamp for K12 Students at the Maker Village Kochi is now established as a permanent annual event on Kerala's MICE calendar, scheduled for the first week of December every year.
